UPSDM - Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission
UPSDM has created a special framework to include startups as Training Providers in its skill development ecosystem:
Startups can qualify as Startup Training Providers (STPs) if they meet eligibility criteria such as having at least 2 years of experience in education/skilling and adequate turnover, and a registered office in Uttar Pradesh.
Once empaneled, these startup training providers are responsible for candidate mobilization, skill training, placement, and post‑placement tracking, under UPSDM supervision.
This creates opportunities for startups in the skills ecosystem to deliver industry‑aligned training and employment solutions at scale.
SSDF - State Skill Development Fund
The State Skill Development Fund (SSDF) is a financing mechanism and scheme used by the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) to support and expand skill training initiatives across the state. It is created to fund, promote and integrate various skilling programs that help increase employability of youth across Uttar Pradesh
